The Portland Highlanders basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Wheeler Lions to 42 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Windsor Locks for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 14. Portland will battle a Raiders team coming off a 60-50 non-league win over Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Raiders record now stands at 20-4.
