California High School Volleyball - Helix can't hold off San Marcos

In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting San Marcos Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Helix Highlanders.

The Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Barons come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Bonita Vista nudged El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Highlanders clash with the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 11. Helix will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 5-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Del Norte (San Diego, CA).
