Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Lancers battle the El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 13. Hilltop will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Vaqueros come into the match with a 0-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Valhalla (El Cajon, CA).

With the loss, Steele Canyon drops to 6-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA) to battle the Matadors in a Grossmont Valley match on Tuesday, March 14. The Matadors come into the match with a record of 2-7.
