The Providence Day Chargers lacrosse team scored 19 points and held the host Durham Academy Cavaliers to 8 in the Chargers league win on Friday.
The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Hoggard prevailed over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 24-0, in a league game.
