Georgia High School Lacrosse - Pope sneaks past Walton

The Pope Greyhounds lacrosse team scored 6 points and held the host Walton Raiders to 5 in the Greyhounds non-league win on Friday.
The Greyhounds (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets enter the 5A-6A Area 2 contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Sprayberry was nipped by East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA), 9-6, in a non-league contest.
The Raiders now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wheeler for a 7A Area 2 contest on Monday, March 13. Walton will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 20-4 league loss to Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.
