The crowd at Friday's league test between the Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA) and the visiting Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA), saw Aquinas's soccer squad knock off Towns County by a margin of 2-0.

The Fightin' Irish now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln County for a 1A D-II Area 8 test on Tuesday, March 14. Aquinas will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 9-1 league loss to Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Towns County drops to 1-6 on the season. The Indians travel to Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA) to meet the Titans in a 1A D-II Area 8 test on Friday, March 17. The Titans come into the test with a record of 6-1.
