In Friday's non-league game, the South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA) soccer squad tipped the host Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA), by a final score of 1-0.
The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA). The Wildcats go into the 6A Area 4 challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Dunwoody Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA), 1-1, in a league challenge.
The Hornets now possess a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cass for a 5A Area 7 challenge on Monday, March 13. Hiram will confront a Colonels team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Bremen (Bremen, GA). The Colonels record now stands at 4-6.
