The Centennial Hawks softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Artesia Bulldogs to 1 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Centennial moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Hawks travel to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 11. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 2-1. Alamogordo won 14-0 in their recent non-league game against Cobre (Bayard, NM)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 11. Artesia will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Cavemen come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM).
