Texas High School Softball - Boerne bounces Hondo

Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX), 11-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Greyhounds now sport a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bandera for a 4A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, March 17. Boerne will face a BULLDOGS squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Lytle (Lytle, TX). The BULLDOGS record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Hondo falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Devine (Devine, TX) to face the Warhorses in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 17. The Warhorses enter the challenge with a record of 16-3.
