North Carolina High School Softball - West Cabarrus knocked off by Central Cabarrus

March 10, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

In Friday's non-league contest, the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), by a margin of 16-3.

With the triumph, Central Cabarrus moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC) to play the Knights in a South Piedmont 3A contest on Tuesday, March 14. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 2-2. Lake Norman Charter lost 11-2 in their recent league contest against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC)

In their next game, the Wolverines play the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A contest, on Tuesday, March 14. West Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 13-2 league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC).
