California High School Softball - El Modena bounces El Toro

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) and the host El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA), witnessed El Modena's softball squad tip El Toro by a count of 5-1.

The Vanguards now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to West for a non-league match on Friday, March 10. El Modena will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, El Toro moves to 3-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to La Mirada (La Mirada, CA) to meet the Matadores in a non-league match on Saturday, March 11. The Matadores go into the match with a record of 4-4. La Mirada won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against West (Torrance, CA)
