California High School Softball - La Mirada bounces El Toro

The La Mirada Matadores routed the host El Toro Chargers softball squad by a count of 6-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Matadores (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Cypress (Cypress, CA). The Centurions go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Cypress nudged Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM), 7-0, in a non-league battle.

The Chargers now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they host San Juan Hills for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 16. El Toro will meet a Stallions squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Stallions record now stands at 2-8.
