Arizona High School Softball - Marana bounces Gila Ridge

Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ), 11-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canyon View for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 11. Marana will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Gila Ridge falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Hawks host Yuma (Yuma, AZ) to battle the Criminals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 14. The Criminals enter the challenge with a record of 0-6. Yuma lost 18-4 in their recent non-league challenge against San Luis (San Luis, AZ)
