North Carolina High School Softball - Union Pines tipped by Jordan-Matthews

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) softball team the visiting Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC), by a margin of 6-4.

With the triumph, Jordan-Matthews moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Jets travel to North Moore (Robbins, NC) to play the Mustangs in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, March 14. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 1-1.

In their next game, the Vikings play the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, March 14. Union Pines will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Fighting Scots come into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 21-0 league win over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC).
