The Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights got by the visiting Southern Christian Patriots softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Chambers Academy was edged by Autauga Academy (Prattville, AL), 9-5, in a non-league battle.
