The Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL) softball nipped the host Munford Lions (Munford, AL), 1-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Aggies (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL). The Wolves go into the non-league bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Fayetteville held off Talladega (Talladega, AL), 20-2, in a non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Comer for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 11. Munford will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Childersburg (Childersburg, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
