In Friday's non-league contest, the Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats (Montgomery, AL), by a margin of 11-1.
With the triumph, Pike County moves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Opp (Opp, AL) to play the Bobcats in a 3A Area 4 contest on Tuesday, March 21. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 12-6.
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Greenville Tigers (Greenville, AL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 13. Trinity Presbyterian will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Horseshoe Bend (New Site, AL).
