Beaufort Eagles (Beaufort, SC) fans were thrilled Sunday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Providence Panthers (Lexington, SC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles face the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) in a AAA Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, March 12. Beaufort will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Iron Horses enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC).

The Panthers now have a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to River Bluff for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Providence will face a Gators team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Ashley (Charleston, SC). The Gators record now stands at 4-2.
