The Haynes Academy baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Belle Chasse Cardinals to 1 in the non-league win on Monday.

The now hold a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside Academy for a non-league test on Friday, March 14. Haynes Academy will play a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 14-5.

With the defeat, Belle Chasse drops to 9-8 on the year. The Cardinals travel to St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA) to play the Saints in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Saints go into the test with a record of 7-5. St. Martin's Episcopal lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA)
