In Monday's non-league game, the host Jennings Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 11-10 win over the Breaux Bridge Tigers.
The Bulldogs (6-8) will now prepare for their game against North Vermilion (Maurice, LA). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 9-9 record. In their last game, North Vermilion was tipped by Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA), 16-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Tigers play the Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 11. Breaux Bridge will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Gators go into the game with a 3-11 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA).
