The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Canute Trojans (Canute, OK) and the host Navajo Indians (Altus, OK), saw Canute's baseball team beat Navajo by a margin of 3-1.

The Trojans (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Merritt (Elk City, OK). The Oilers enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Merritt held off Hobart (Hobart, OK), 22-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Indians face the Cordell Blue Devils (Cordell, OK) in a Shortgrass battle, on Tuesday, March 11. Navajo will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 19-3 non-league loss to Hinton (Hinton, OK).
