The Stonewall Longhorns baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Cyril Pirates to 1 in the Longhorns non-league win on Monday.

The Longhorns now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dewar for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. Stonewall will play a Dragons team coming off a 22-0 non-league win over Drumright (Drumright, OK). The Dragons record now stands at 5-0.

With the defeat, Cyril drops to 0-2 on the year. The Pirates host Velma-Alma (Velma, OK) to play the Comets in a non-league test on Friday, March 14. The Comets go into the test with a record of 0-3. Velma-Alma lost 11-8 in their recent non-league test against Lexington (Lexington, OK)
