St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA), 19-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, St. Augustine moves its record to 9-6 on the season. The Purple Knights travel to Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Fighting Eagles in a 5A District 9 contest on Wednesday, March 12. The Fighting Eagles come into the contest with a record of 6-4. Warren Easton won 7-1 in their recent non-league contest against Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA)

The Cavalier now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Martin's Episcopal for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 13.
