The South Gibson Hornets baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Huntingdon Mustangs to 1 in the Hornets non-league win on Monday.
The Hornets now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Milan for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. South Gibson will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Crockett County (Alamo, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Huntingdon drops to 2-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Chester County (Henderson, TN) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-0. Chester County won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Scotts Hill (Reagan, TN)
