In Monday's non-league game, the host Southeast Lauderdale Tigers baseball team scored a close 5-1 win over the Stringer Red Devils.
The Tigers (14-1) will now prepare for their game against Union (Union, MS). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league game with a 7-3 record.
Next, the Red Devils play the Lamar Raiders (Meridian, MS) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 13. Stringer will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Raiders go into the game with a 9-2 record after their 16-1 non-league win over Patrician Academy (Butler, AL).
