The Towns County Indians baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Varsity Opponent to 3 in the Indians non-league win on Monday.
The Indians now hold a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hayesville for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. Towns County will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 11-1 league win over Andrews (Andrews, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Varsity Opponent drops to 13-36 on the year. The travel to Lexington (Lexington, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, March 10. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-3. Lexington lost 9-4 in their recent non-league test against Onalaska (Onalaska, TX)
