In Monday's non-league match, the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA), by a count of 3-0.
Next up, the Spartans battle the Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) in a Bay match, on Thursday, March 13. South will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 16-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Loyola (Los Angeles, CA).
The Gauchos (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Animo Venice (Los Angeles, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Animo Venice notched a victory over Animo Pat Brown (Los Angeles, CA), 3-2, in a league match.
