The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) and the host Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), saw Rio Rancho's baseball team gain a win over Sandia by a tally of 13-11.
The Rams (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, La Cueva held off Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Matadors face the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 20. Sandia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
