The St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts to 48 in the Snowbirds non-league triumph on Monday.
The Snowbirds now possess a 22-4 record. They play next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 12. St. Mary Cathedral will confront a Panthers team coming off a 43-32 non-league win over Buckley (Buckley, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 17-6.
With the loss, Mio-Au Sable falls to 18-6 on the campaign.
