The Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks flag football squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Oak Ridge Pioneers to 6 in the Ducks non-league triumph on Monday.
The Ducks now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Nona for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. Cornerstone Charter Academy will meet a Lions squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Tohopekaliga (Kissimmee, FL). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Oak Ridge drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Freedom (Orlando, FL) to meet the Patriots in a 4A D9 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 3-2. Freedom lost 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Olympia (Orlando, FL)
