North Carolina High School Soccer - Manteo held off by J.H. Rose

In Monday's non-league contest, the J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) soccer team edged the host Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC), by a count of 2-1.

Next, the Rampants battle the New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) in a Big East 3A/4A contest, on Thursday, March 13. J.H. Rose will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC).

The Redskins (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Aces enter the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Holmes held off Perquimans (Hertford, NC), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
