The Gophers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Show Low for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Florence will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Chino Valley (Chino Valley, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, ALA - Ironwood drops to 0-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Payson (Payson, AZ) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 17. The Longhorns go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
