The Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT) baseball trounced the host Payson Lions (Payson, UT), 13-6 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Skyhawks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Timpanogos for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Salem Hills will clash with a Timberwolves team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Payson drops to 0-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Timpview (Provo, UT) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Thunderbirds go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
