Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Beech Buccaneers (Hendersonville, TN), 8-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Anderson County upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Ezell-Harding Christian (Antioch, TN) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, March 10. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 1-1. Ezell-Harding Christian won 8-6 in their recent non-league game against Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN)

The Buccaneers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gallatin for a 4A District 12 game on Tuesday, March 18.
