The Greene County Tech Golden Eagles edged the host Brookland Bearcats softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Conway Wampus Cats (Conway, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 13. Greene County Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Wampus Cats enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Mayflower (Mayflower, AR).
The Bearcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Paragould (Paragould, AR). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Paragould edged Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR), 8-4, in a non-league challenge.
