The Buckhorn Bucks softball squad (New Market, AL), was routed 4-1 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS)

With the triumph, DeSoto Central improves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Jaguars host Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Monday, March 10. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 0-0.

The Bucks now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Gallatin for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 11. Buckhorn will face a Green Wave squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Trousdale County (Hartsville, TN). The Green Wave record now stands at 1-1.
