North Carolina High School Softball - Cannon held off by South Rowan

In Monday's non-league test, the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) softball squad got by the visiting Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC), by a tally of 4-3.
Next, the Raiders clash with the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A test, on Tuesday, March 11. South Rowan will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 3-2 record after their 10-6 non-league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their test against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, South Caldwell held off A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC), 12-1, in a non-league test.
