The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders overwhelmed the host South Garner Titans softball squad by a count of 21-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Crusaders meet the Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 11. Cardinal Gibbons will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 7-4 non-league win over South Central (Winterville, NC).
The Titans (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Garner (Garner, NC). The Trojans go into the Greater Neuse River 4A challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Garner was routed by South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC), 16-4, in a non-league challenge.
