St. Mary's Academy Cougars (New Orleans, LA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Carver Collegiate Academy Rams (New Orleans, LA), 19-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, St. Mary's Academy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 11. The Hurricanes enter the game with a record of 1-2. L.W. Higgins won 16-6 in their recent non-league game against West St. John (Edgard, LA)
The Rams now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Livingston Collegiate Academy for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 12.
