The Fayetteville Bulldogs softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Elkins Elks to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Monday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rogers Heritage for a 6A West battle on Tuesday, March 11. Fayetteville will confront a War Eagles team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Russellville (Russellville, AR). The War Eagles record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Elkins moves to 2-3 on the season. The Elks travel to Paris (Paris, AR) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 11. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
