In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Fairview Panthers softball team scored a nice 11-2 win over the Grand Lake Hornets.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Mamou (Mamou, LA). The Demons come into the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Mamou was routed by Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA), 8-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Hornets confront the Elton Indians (Elton, LA) in a match, on Tuesday, March 11. Grand Lake will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 22-14 non-league loss to Singer (Singer, LA).
