The St. James Wildcats softball squad (St. James, LA), was routed 19-1 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA)
With the triumph, Lutcher improves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA) to face the Patriots in a 4A District 7 contest on Tuesday, March 11. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 2-3. A.J. Ellender lost 18-3 in their recent league contest against South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA)
The Wildcats now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Central Catholic for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 11. St. James will face a Eagles squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Morgan City (Morgan City, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
