The Mansfield Tigers softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Magazine Rattlers to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Monday.

The Tigers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dover for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 13. Mansfield will confront a Pirates team coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Booneville (Booneville, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Magazine moves to 0-1 on the season. The Rattlers host Western Yell County (Havana, AR) to confront the Wolverines in a 1A Region 4 battle on Friday, March 14. The Wolverines come into the battle with a record of 1-2.
