In Monday's non-league match, the host St. Charles Catholic Comets softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Parkview Baptist Eagles.
The Comets (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Fisher (Lafitte, LA). The Gators come into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Fisher was routed by Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA), 1-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA) in a 3A District 6 match, on Tuesday, March 11. Parkview Baptist will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Pelicans come into the match with a 3-4 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA).
