San Manuel Miners (San Manuel, AZ) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host San Miguel Vipers (Tucson, AZ), 33-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, San Manuel upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Miners travel to Duncan (Duncan, AZ) to play the Wildkats in a 1A South game on Thursday, March 13. The Wildkats enter the game with a record of 2-1.

The Vipers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Palo Verde for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 18.
