The McDonogh 35 Roneagles softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Abramson Commodores to 2 in the Roneagles league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Roneagles meet the East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 11. McDonogh 35 will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 18-4 non-league win over Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA).
The Commodores (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Bulldogs go into the 4A District 10 test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy toppled L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA), 19-15, in a non-league test.
