The Alameda Hornets crushed the visiting Encinal Jets baseball team by a count of 9-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tracy for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 12. Alameda will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Bear Creek (Stockton, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
Next, the Jets face the Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 16. Encinal will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Hayward (Hayward, CA).
