The El Dorado Aztecs baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Artesia Bulldogs to 6 in the Aztecs non-league victory on Friday.
The Aztecs (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Horizon (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions go into the 5A Region I District 2 match with a 5-8 record.
The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Franklin (El Paso, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Franklin by Del Valle (El Paso, TX), 2-0, in a non-league match.
