The Athens Golden Eagles baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Austin Black Bears to 0 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Golden Eagles (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Arab (Arab, AL). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 7-6 record.
The Black Bears (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, Oxford gained a win over Alexandria (Alexandria, AL), 3-2, in a non-league match.
