The Woodland Wildcats baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting East Paulding Raiders to 2 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats (7-5) will now prepare for their match against Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Titans go into the AAAAA Region 7 match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Blessed Trinity was edged by East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA), 3-2, in a non-league match.
The Raiders (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Rome (Rome, GA). The Wolves go into the AAAAAA Region 5 match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Rome was edged by Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA), 8-7, in a non-league match.
